Detailed 3 Days Wildebeest Safari Tanzania Tour

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara

The day starts early as you are picked up at your hotel in Arusha at 8 am. What follows is a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. A packed lunch will be provided at the beautiful scenic picnic spot found within the park, surrounded by the beauty of Africa. You will then be treated to game viewing within the park and dinner at Twiga Lodge or Campsite.

Day 2 of 3 Days Wildebeest Safari Tanzania Tour: Lake Manyara – Ndutu Plai

After an early breakfast, you depart to one of the best areas to view the Great Migration, the Ndutu Plains. Bordering the Serengeti National Park (no fences between them), the Wildebeest travel here between December and mid-May for calving season. Millions of Wildebeest and Zebra wash the plains in one of the greatest spectacles on earth.

The area is also home to many species of animals year-round, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and various birds, making this area a treat even during the “off-season”. In the evening you will retire to your lodge or campsite in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There are spectacular views to be had of the basin.

Accommodation is at Rhino Lodge or similar and Simba Campsite.

Day 3 of 3 Days Wildebeest Safari Tanzania Tour – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After a very early breakfast, descend onto the basin of the Ngorongoro Crater and experience the amazing wildlife sightings on hand. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to the entire Big 5 and various other amazing wildlife. The game viewing is stunning from the beautiful flamingos on Soda Lake to the hippos at Hippo Pool.

Enjoy an amazing lunch in one of the Ngorongoro Crater’s amazing picnic sites. After lunch, you will proceed with your game viewing experience and then drive back to Arusha in the evening.
